I aimed to capturing the vibrant, lifelike energy of the rainforest with my Blue & Gold Macaw portrait. Capturing every feather of this magnificent bird and contrasting it against a deep, dramatic black background. The rich, velvety texture of the pastel medium perfectly brings out the brilliant blues, radiant yellows, and intricate facial markings of this iconic bird.
