How to Commission your Portrait (UK & Worldwide Clients Only - excluding EU & NI - see FAQ page for an explanation)

Step 1: Initial Enquiry
Get started by contacting me or emailing tricia.findlay@mac.com.
What to include: Please send a few photos of your pet from different angles.
Response time: I typically reply the next working day.
Step 2: Quote & Deposit
Once we agree on the size, background, and deadline, I will email you a written quote (including delivery).
Booking: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space in my order book.
Step 3: The Creative Process
Each portrait takes approximately 15–30 hours to complete, depending on complexity.
Updates: I can provide progress shots as I work or show them to you once finished.
Final Approval: I will email a photo of the completed portrait for your approval. Minor alterations can be made at this stage.
Step 4: Payment & Delivery
Once the portrait is finished, I will send a final invoice (payable via BACS).
Shipping: After payment, your artwork is securely packaged and sent via tracked, insured mail.
UK: 1–3 working days via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Worldwide: 10–14 working days via ParcelForce (International buyers are responsible for local taxes/duties).
Collection: Local collection is also available.
